One day I received a message from Maxis saying this.
I'm one of the subscriber that use Caller Line Identification Restriction (CLIR) service that Maxis provide, that allow me to hide my mobile phone number when I'm calling anyone. This is due to Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commision (MCMC) requirements to comply with Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998 (AKM 1998). It will cease to exist effective on 30 June 2023, which left few more days (today is 27 June 2023).
Good bye Caller ID.
